Judy Cohen

Judy Cohen, is a 1974 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee-School of Education with multiple degrees and licenses in learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities and emotional-behavioral disabilities.

After retiring from an illustrious 30-year teaching/administrative career in Milwaukee Public Schools, Mrs.Cohen has not retired from education. Her mission and goals through LES is to coach/tutor children of all age and grade levels and to help children achieve stronger confidence which leads to greater academic success. With her specialty of teaching organizational and study skills, and an emphasis in teaching children how to write with coherency and fluency. Mrs. Cohen has touched the lives of many children throughout the greater Milwaukee, Ozaukee and Waukesha County areas. 

Judy and her daughter Mindee Pinto ( a teacher in Illinois) are co-authors of Mikey, a book about the day of a child on the autism spectrum.

Judy often makes guest appearances on The Morning Blend a morning television talk show in Milwaukee, to discuss issues of education from homework, child advocacy to the summer slide. Judy also is featured on WISN in Milwaukee on Friday afternoons, to talk about school-related topics, often suggested by parents. Viewers love these interviews and all her advice.
